Bridge Marathon Committee
SVF’s own Bridge Marathon club meets once a month on the third Tuesday. Flights are organized in August.
Happy Wanderers (Seniors)
The Happy Wanderers are SVF’s seniors’ group, open to all 55 and over. Social and spiritual activities make up the focus of the gatherings: they have gone to Churchill Downs, museums, fall foliage tours, and other fun activities. The Happy Wanderers meet for coffee and donuts after mass the last Friday of each month, and speakers or spiritual reflection are often available.
Womens Volleyball
All women of the parish are welcome to participate in non-competitive volleyball games in the gym. The women meet each Tuesday night at 8:00 from September through May.
Eurchre Tournament
Euchre is a plain-trick game for four players in fixed partnerships, partners sitting opposite. Just 5 cards are dealt to each player and the object is to win at least three of the five tricks - with an extra bonus for winning all five. SVF has a faithful group of Euchre fans, and a tournament is organized each year.
Newcomer Welcome Committee
The SVF Newcomer Welcome Committee is a group of parishioners who work to make St. Vincent’s a warm and welcoming place to visitors, guests, and newcomers. Activities that the committee sponsors include contacting new parishioners, sending a welcome packet and following up on the return of forms, and offering to visit the new person/ family.
