SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME
Jesus is clear about what it means to follow him: “Whoever wishes to come after me must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.” As followers of Jesus, love of God is at the core of our lives. In our life with our family, and in our role in the parish in the global community, we see in others God’s beautiful creation and put ourselves at the service of the good of all.
Prayer Moment: Transform me, God, that I may discern your will and do what is good and pleasing and perfect.

Fact: It
costs our parish about $5,000 each year for hosts, sacramental wine, and
sacramental candles.
We reported in The Living Church last week that 2008 Festival net profit was $73,000. That was an estimate at the time The Living Church went to press. We now have final figures for our Festival, and the news is even better. Actual net profit for our Festival was over $81,000. This is a 17% increase from last year's profit, and a great testament to the efforts made by all our volunteers. Thank you to everyone who helped make our 2008 St. Vincent Ferrer Festival a success!
