We would
like to invite all of our parishioners who are graduating this year from
elementary school, high school, college and graduate school to attend any
Mass on May 29 or 30. We will give a special Baccalaureate blessing to
honor our graduates and to thank God for their accomplishments.
This
year’s event will take place immediately following the 9:00 AM
Mass on Sunday, June 6th, and will be held at the
Crowne Plaza Hotel in Blue Ash at the I-71 / Pfeiffer Road Exit. A full
service breakfast buffet will be provided. This uplifting event is open to
every male member of the parish, and extended family and guests are invited
to attend. Please RSVP

Be sure to indicate the number of adults and children under 12 that will be
attending. Make checks payable to St. Vincent Ferrer Church and send to
Dave Davis at 7224 Garden Road, Cincinnati, OH 45236. The cost is $10 per
adult and $5 for children under 12. There is a family rate of $20. Steve Wolf
will be the featured speaker: Mr. Wolf is a
business owner and is
married with four children. His talk will focus on
the importance of a faith-based vision in life with an emphasis on the
family.
On Memorial Day, Monday, May 31, we will have Mass at 9:00 a.m. in Church.
It will
be a great opportunity to gather as one Eucharistic body to pray for our beloved
dead. May all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

It’s festival time again! This year, the Bid n’ Buy
will be accepting new item donations on May 23rd
and on June 6th. Donations can be
dropped off at Hamilton Hall between 11am and 1:30 pm on
these dates. Donations can also be dropped off at the
parish office Monday through Friday between the hours of
9am and 3pm. We appreciate all that you do to make our

The Heidel
Family could use our help as Jeff recovers from a very serious medical issue
which will take some time for recovery. Let’s all pull together to help
defray some of his medical expenses and support him as a community. For

SVF is going Green! Our
School Committee discussed "Going Green" and ways we can eliminate
some of the paper that goes home in our Friday "Green Folder". We
now have our "Green Folder" on-line!

the Pantene Beautiful Lengths drive. Pantene Beautiful Lengths is a charity
that provides real-hair wigs to women fighting cancer.
St.
Vincent Ferrer Parish receives 4-12% of every dollar spent on gift cards
purchased here. This is a great way to raise money without costing you any
more then you are already spending. Use our SVF gift cards for your regular
purchases or as gifts for family, teachers and friends.
Parishioners can purchase and order gift cards at the parish office. You
are welcome to come to the office TUE-FRI between 9am - 3pm. There is a
wide selection of cards available in inventory; an updated list is online.
Current Inventory Parishioners may also
drop off order forms for cards not in inventory at the parish office.
Orders received by the 20th of each month will be available for pick-up in
the Parish Office on the first Tuesday of the following month. On select
weekends beginning in October, Development Commission members and volunteers
will sell gift cards outside of church after all Masses. Watch the bulletin
next week for a listing of all days when cards will be sold after Mass.

The baptism preparation class is for
parents who are having their first child baptized. The next class will be
offered onSunday, March 21, 2010 at 1:15 p.m. in the Chapel. You
must call the parish office 791-9030 to register.
remember those who have gone before the Lord, we also have a Memorial Garden that is maintained by members
of our Adopt-A-Plot team. The garden surrounds the pathway that contains
many bricks honoring both living and deceased, past and present members of
our parish. If you wish to honor a loved one in this way, please contact
the parish office, or call Donna Piening at 791-7449 for details.
