Another school
year ended here at SVF this past Friday. The SVF class of 2009 graduated on
Thursday evening, June 4 at 7:00 p.m. We are truly proud of them and pray
that our Lord will watch over them in their future endeavors! We want to
thank all of our faculty, students and parent volunteers for helping to make
it a very successful year.
All families that sat
for a photo directory session and have not picked up
their copy of the directory can stop in the Parish
Office during normal business hours. There will be a
limited number of directories available, for $10 on a
first come first serve basis.
We are hard at work on this year's Bid 'n Buy boothbut we still need your help!Please drop off your

Thank you to
everyone who supported our 2009 Walk-a-Thon and who made donations to our
school children who collected after Mass last week. All proceeds will go to
support our St. Vincent Ferrer School "STAR" Fund. This fund provides
tuition assistance for families who otherwise could not afford to send their
children to our school. So far we have received $4,860 in donations!
The students and
staff would like to thank everyone from our parish community for their
wonderful support during the 2008/2009 school year! Thanks! Peace and

SVF is
going Green! Our School Committee discussed "Going Green" and ways we can
eliminate some of the paper that goes home in our Friday "Green Folder". We now
have our "Green Folder" on-line! All of the information that goes home on Friday
is now available for viewing on-line.
The
sixth graders of our school would like to thank all who have donated pop
tabs to our Ronald McDonald House project. We will continue to collect tabs
through the summer and into next year in order to reach our goal of one
million. We're almost there!
Please consider being a booth sponsor for the
Festival! For only $85.00 your company or family name will be displayed on a
booth for ALL 3 DAYS! We will also mention all sponsor names regularly

FESTIVAL CLEAN UP
If you
need service hours or can just lend a hand…any help would be greatly
appreciated on Monday, June 29. Clean up begins at 8:00 a.m.
On
behalf of the Development Commission I'd like to thank everyone for the
fantastic response to the new SVF Scrip program. Already we have sold more
than $5,000 worth of scrip and gift cards. We look forward to your
continued and growing support. Remember, every time you shop St Vincent
Ferrer can benefit without costing you more!!
The next time we will be selling scrip after Masses is on June 20-21 - don't

Our annual Women’s Communion Breakfast will be held on Sunday, June
14, following the 9:00 a.m. Mass. Held in Hamilton Hall the cost is $13.00
per person. Reservations along with correct payment may be dropped off
at the Parish Office until June 9, or you may call Lyn Smith at
791-8605. Invite a friend and come join us for Mass and good fellowship.
